Why can’t I pay the vehicle exit fee online?

If the vehicle has an unpaid inspection or road tax fee, the vehicle exit fee cannot be paid online. These debts must be cleared first.

Where is the vehicle exit fee paid?

It is the fee paid when you take your car out of North Cyprus (TRNC). Its official name is the vehicle exit permit fee (yurt dışı çıkış izin harcı). According to the fee schedule, it is paid separately for every exit.

Who is exempt?

Vehicles owned by the state, municipalities and the Union of Cyprus Turkish Municipalities (Kıbrıs Türk Belediyeler Birliği)
Private and non-private vehicles loaded with citrus fruit for export
TIR trucks and lorries engaged in international road haulage that are members of the Cyprus Turkish International Transporters’ Association (Kıbrıs Türk Beynelmilel Nakliyeciler Birliği)

Debts that block online payment

Inspection debt. If the vehicle has an unpaid vehicle inspection (MOT) fee, the vehicle exit fee cannot be paid online. Paying the inspection fee

At online.vergi.gov.ct.tr, look up your vehicle and pay the vehicle exit fee on the card payment page.
