Paying online, step by step

  1. See the fee. The inspection check shows the fee due, its amount and your inspection dates.
  2. Go to payment. The card payment page of the government tax portal opens; payment goes directly to the government.
  3. Get the receipt. Download the payment document or keep it ready on your phone.
  4. Take the car to inspection. Go to the inspection centre with your documents within the dates allocated to you.

After paying

Paying the fee does not mean the inspection has been done. If the check says “fee paid, inspection not completed”, you still need to take the vehicle to the inspection centre.

Bring to the inspection the receipt or online payment document showing that the fee has been paid, the original Motor Vehicle Registration Document, the original third-party insurance certificate and your original driving licence.

An unpaid inspection fee blocks other payments

For a vehicle with an unpaid inspection fee, road tax and the vehicle exit fee cannot be paid online. Pay the inspection fee first.
